The business world is constantly changing and is getting more mobile. Shopping with smart phones, time- and location-independent, is becoming increasingly popular. Because of this, companies are forced to align their internet presence according to these developments in the mobile sector. The EU-funded project m-commerce aims at supporting companies in their ways to meet this trend successfully.Due to the enormous increase of smart phones, the business world has opened up to new perspectives which can be summarized in one buzzword, namely m-commerce!
Mobile commerce, in short m-commerce, is the buying and selling of goods and services through wireless handheld devices such as mobile phones and tablets.

According to studies of the E-Commerce-Center Handel (ECC Handel), placed in Germany, companies are asked to meet the fast changing demands of the customers in order to satisfy the customer’s need of information and purchasing by using mobile devices. In fact, 58, 8% of the interviewees wish to have an optimization of existing online-shops in terms of an easy and fast mobile purchase.
